The queso starts with peppers, onions, and sausage cooked down in a skillet. Then you add some diced jalapenos (have you ever bought them diced like this? Love them!), and a can of chili.

  1. You can add a cab of cream of mushroom soup . it makes it creamier. Or you can add sausage instead of beef. You can also use cream cheese instead of velvetta

    2. This is the whole recipe. I make this for parties & picnics all the time but I don't add the Chiles. The Rotel Tomatoes are spicy (I use the mild since I don't like spicy hot). Just brown the meat, throw all into crock pot & cook 2-3 hrs or till it thickens up a bit. Keep warm while serving and stir occasionally. That's it.
